SAO Certified

When you buy from Poh Heng, you are buying the very best. Our products are hallmarked by the Singapore Assay Office (SAO) to ensure that the gold fineness meets Singapore’s strict standards. Look out for the SAO logo, which bears the symbol of a lion head, as every assayed piece of jewellery is stamped with this reputable quality-control hallmark.

The Standard of Gold Fineness

All Poh Heng products made out of gold or gold alloy in accordance with the Singapore Standard SS581: 2020 (Specification for Fineness and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals) as they bear an indicative mark of gold content fineness.

The standards of fineness are defined by: Karat (K) which represents 1/24 part of pure gold or Numerical mark which represents the number of parts by weight of pure gold expressed in parts per thousand.

Exchange for cash with your 916.6/22K or 999/24K product. We only offer cash buy-back on gold originally bought from Poh Heng.

Poh Heng’s Trust® Diamond

For Poh Heng Trust® or non-Trust® diamonds, please enquire at any of our boutiques.
Non-Poh Heng diamonds and gemstones are not eligible for buy-back.

Trade-In Policy

Poh Heng’s Gold Jewellery

For Poh Heng Gold products (18K/750, 22K/916.67 & 24K/999): You can trade-in for a new item. We offer 95% of the gross weight gold value based on the prevailing retail gold price on the day of trade-in. Non-Poh Heng gold jewellery is not eligible for buy-back, but may be traded in for new products on a 'willing-buyer, willing-seller' basis. For more details, please visit our boutique.

Poh Heng’s Trust® Diamond

Upgrade to the next tier of Trust® Diamond solitaire: Depending on the year of purchase, Poh Heng will accept a percentage of the original invoice value as trade-in credit toward an upgrade, subject to a minimum purchase requirement. Non-Poh Heng diamonds and gemstones are not eligible for trade-in.

This trade-in service is applicable to Trust® Diamonds purchased from Poh Heng Jewellery only and is designed to help our customers upgrade with confidence and enhance their collection with even more stunning diamond pieces.
